March 25, 2023 - Gunter's Landing
The March Tournament was cancelled due to weather.
The first BEGA monthly tournament is a flighted individual stroke play event and will be held at Gunter's Landing on March 25th. It will be a 4-person scramble format.
We have tee times starting at 9:00am. When you sign up, pick any team and don’t pay attention to the tee times. All tee times will be reassigned the week of the tournament. The event will have up with 13 teams and a total of 52 players. One new software enhancement this year is when an event fills up, you can add yourself to the waiting list. If you find that the case, go ahead and we will see if we can get more tee times or you can get added with any last minute cancellations.
The cost will be $59.95 plus tax payable to the course and $10 cash paid to the tournament director (assigned closer to the tournament date). Since we are playing a scramble format, handicap won’t come into play, and you will just play your assigned normal tees.
We will use the portal software, you will just record 1 score per team. Also, since it is a tee time event, the real time scoring will be turned off. Otherwise the later tee time teams had an advantage by being able to see what they needed to do versus just trying to shoot as low as they can.
